Her confidence and natural charisma allow her to naturally bolster others' confidence and she's always encouraging others to do their best too. - She's a very kind and caring person who is very loyal to her friends and on some level sees it as her duty as an idol to bring others happiness with her music. Miku was a very normal ordinary average Japanese girl with absolutely nothing remarkable about her childhood or parentage, completely unaware of the presence of supernatural things like magic and monsters and world ending prophecies as anything that could possibly exist outside of her favorite manga and video games. Nothing really all that traumatic or dangerous ever happened to her, she had normal albeit not very close friends and went to a normal school, got average grades and went through her first 14 years of life relatively peacefully. Her mother was a housewife and her father a businessman, she has an older brother who's a member of the school football club. For the most part, she was fairly happy this way, even her one big dream, to become an Idol is a perfectly normal ambition for a Japanese school girl to have. Even then though she really did have a passion for music, ever since she was very young. The big difference between her and most girls like her is that she's one of the lucky few to actually have that dream come true. And on top of that, she would soon discover she wasn't quite as normal she believed herself to be.
It started out innocently enough. She always liked singing, going to karaoke with friends and things like that and her friends had always told her she had a nice voice and should try auditioning, so when she heard that a new Idol Agency, Crypton Future Media, was looking to form a multi-gender idol group and were looking for fresh young girls to fill out the female side of the roster, she finally decided to go for it. What was the worse that could happen? Even if she got rejected at least she did her best. What she didn't know was that this Idol Agency was looking for more than just music talent and that she herself had recently awoken to her Flame. When she stepped up to sing for her audition, she was immediately a hit for more than one reason, with listeners being able to feel the passion of her performance in more ways than one. Naturally, she made the cut and it was she was accepted and showed up at the agency to meet her groupmates that she learned the truth of what was going on.
Since that day, Miku and the rest of Vocaloid quickly rose up the charts as idols, with Miku herself just as quickly outshining the rest of the group and becoming Face of the Band. They've even managed to become successful overseas. Even as they top the charts, they've also been training under their teacher to train their musical based Flames in preparation for Nightfall.
Of course, there's a limit to what Crypton's teachers could teach her themselves and they would eventually have to work with other Candles like the ones at Daybreak Academy, so Miku would eventually be sent there to continue her training. Which doesn't mean she's putting her idol career completely on hold of course, but maybe she will until she's adjusted to her new environment.

Of course, a strong-willed enough person can resist these effects if they want and they can only work so long as the target can hear her.
